We create a friendly atmosphere, with a safe space, to help you discuss your fears or concerns without judgement and explore possibilities for treatment in a relaxed way to help you build confidence.

Shaila has a natural aptitude for helping people overcome their anxiety and fear around visiting the dentist.

 Together with her team, she creates a calm, friendly atmosphere, to help you feel relaxed and build confidence around dental visits. Your initial consultations can be carried out away from the  dental surgery, to give you a chance to meet the dental team, or and for us to understand any  specific issues you may have. 


We will tell you everything you need to know

We are happy to explain your treatment and answer questions, so that you have all the knowledge that you need to feel reassured. We believe communication is the key to a good experience with the dentist.

Gentle Dentistry

We provide “Gentle Dentistry” with bespoke solutions for each person. We use techniques to help you feel comfortable, for example, you can listen to music or watch a TV show on your own digital device to distract yourself.

You can decide how treatment proceeds by choosing the area or tooth that will be worked on first, if this is relevant. Also, a simple stop signal can be agreed to let us know if you feel any discomfort.


We use numbing gel, and also have specialist tools like The Wand which allows pain-free injections. Oral or IV sedation can be helpful to put you in a calmer state of mind and can be arranged on request.


These are just a few examples of the things we use to make your visit to the dentist a pleasant one. We believe improving your oral health will help to improve your overall wellbeing, social confidence and the quality of your life.
