Thank you so much for all your patience and kindness when treating me and for helping me overcome my fear of dentists.

Transform your Smile
Not everyone is happy with their smile or how their teeth look. This can have a major impact on a person’s confidence when it comes to interacting and socialising with others. Cosmetic dentistry is a field within general dentistry that focuses on the beauty of a smile and covers treatments that enhance, align, and whiten or tone the teeth for a more attractive appearance. This includes treatments such as porcelain veneers, white fillings, teeth whitening, orthodontics, clear braces, CEREC and dental implants. These treatments involve special techniques, equipment and a high level of skill from a dentist.
If you are embarrassed by your teeth it’s best to speak to Shaila, who can tell you more about the options available in a non-judgemental and empathetic environment and provide you with information about how these can affect your lifestyle while you are undergoing treatment.
Don’t hide your smile; allow us bring out its natural beauty with cosmetic dentistry.
Shaila provides a number of treatment options to help you achieve your ideal smile. She will look at the shape and colour of individual teeth and then choose treatments to create the most aesthetically pleasing look. She can enhance your smile by closing gaps, whitening discoloured teeth, straightening crooked tooth edges and removing staining.
We can help you whiten your natural teeth using whitening gel in a custom made personal tray that comfortably fits your mouth. It is one the most popular methods of teeth whitening being used.
Your teeth will be lightened without altering their structure. The tray with the gel will be worn either overnight or for one hour session. It will take between 10 to 14 applications for results to be seen. Your custom made try can be reused multiple times.
Aesthetics have always been important to Shaila who also studies drawing in mixed media. Shaila combines her artistry and dental restorative techniques to provide patients with natural looking results. Using the ‘The Vanini Technique’, she takes into account the colour and individual character of teeth to create beautiful smiles, having trained with Lorenzo Vanini in Italy.
We can use a thin layer of porcelain or a natural colour ‘composite’ material to fit over the front surface of a tooth. Veneers can lighten or straighten a single tooth or all of your front teeth. We can use them to close small gaps or make a broken tooth look whole again.
We can fit an artificial restoration which is called a crown over a tooth to give it a natural tooth shape. We use crowns to repair and strengthen teeth that have been broken or weakened by decay.
